Among the current exhibits at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art is the “Art of the Skateboard” that features skateboards and the artists who decorated them . The exhibit continues through June 12.
This multi-part exhibit will explore the history, art and culture of skateboarding past and present. “Canyon of the Wolfbat: Skatepark Installation” by Dennis McNett also will be on view.
A curator’s tour will be held at 12;15 p.m. Thursday, May 5. It is free with museum admission. More information at fwmoa.org/events.
Also on view from April 23-July 10, will be “Color X Color: Selections from the Chuck Sperry Archive.” It features over 150 printed band posters from the collection.
