Monday, 5:46 p.m., Bluffton Regional Medical Center, 303 S. Main St. Female wandered away from the emergency room wearing only a T-shirt and her underwear. Officer located her near the Elks Lodge about a block up the street and returned her to the emergency room.
Monday, 11:09 p.m., Airplane Express and Service, 407 N. Main St. Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a 2003 Ford Taurus with a Texas license plate that had expired in February. The driver, identified as Donta Jamar Willis, 26, Huntington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while never having been issued a driver’s license, a Class C misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license plate.
Tuesday, 11:24 a.m., Office of Family and Children, 221 W. Market St. Report of a woman in an orange jacket knocking on the windows of the office, claiming to be a police officer and demanding entrance to the building. Personnel had locked the doors to prevent the woman from entering. A real officer told her she needed to move on. It was observed by the officer who responded to the complaint that the same woman had been caught by Huntington police earlier in the day attempting to direct traffic.
Tuesday, 1:19 p.m., Praxis, 1529 W. Lancaster St. Caller reported theft of an Andrew Luck jersey and lotion.

Monday, 12:42 p.m., Ind. 218 at 100W. Vehicle pulled off to the side of the road. Sheriff’s deputy investigated and discovered it belonged to a woman who had exited her car to assist a snapping turtle across the highway.
Monday, 1:28 p.m., Silo Farms mobile home park. Mobile home entered but nothing reported stolen,
ACCIDENTS

Monday, 4:49 p.m., Blackford County Road 400E at Wells County Road 1200S. Cadillac Escalade rolled over in a field after apparently driving too fast on 400E upon entering Wells County. Whoever had been driving the Escalade left the scene. The vehicle’s owner showed up while emergency personnel were still on scene and at first claimed to be the driver, then said she wasn’t but that she wasn’t going to tell law enforcement who had been driving the vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.
