Wells County Extension Homemakers will have a new format for their Volunteer Community Support work day, which is scheduled for 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21, in the meeting room of the Wells County Community Center at the 4-H Park.
All women are invited, including those who do not belong to a Homemakers’ club.
Lap throws will be made — no sewing is involved — but those who attend are asked to bring their best cutting scissors. Labels will be sewn into some 4-H Association items.
The event is planned as a good social time for women to get acquainted.
