I want to announce my support for Wells County Sheriff Scott Holliday’s bid for re-election.
It was a privilege to serve as a law enforcement officer in Wells County for 26 years. I held every position at the sheriff’s office, with the last four years as Sheriff of Wells County. I only state my experience because it prepared me to serve you as sheriff.
I had the honor of hiring Scott Holliday shortly after being elected sheriff. I have watched him also be promoted to all ranks at the sheriff’s office. This has prepared Scott as well, to serve as sheriff, which he has done very well for the past 4 years.
His faith, commitment, passion, honesty, integrity and leadership skills, are evident in all that he undertakes.
Leadership is less about individual needs, and more about the needs of the people and the organization being led. Leadership styles are developed over time and are adapted to the particular demands of the situation, the particular requirements of the people involved, and the difficult challenges facing the organization. Sheriff Scott Holliday exemplifies all of these.
The law enforcement leadership and protection that he has provided as sheriff, along with his 20 years of law enforcement experience has been a blessing to the people of Wells County.
When you cast your vote for Sheriff on Tuesday, May 3rd please join me in voting for the re-election of Sheriff Scott Holliday.
