Kyler Rolston tallied four hits to help lead the Bluffton Tigers to a 12-5 victory over the Blackford Bruins on Thursday.
Rolston’s day included a double in the first, grand slam in the second, and singles in the third and fifth innings.
The Tigers (1-1) got off to a hot start, scoring all 12 of their runs in the first two innings – four in the first and eight in the second.
As a team, the Tigers came up with 15 hits. Besides Rolston, Drew Pressler, Dylan King, and Ellis each had multi-hit games as well.
Eli Garrett earned the win for Bluffton on the mound. He pitched one inning and allowed one run on zero hits while striking out one. Brody Lewis and Curtis Ellis closed the game out from the bullpen.
Bluffton’s next game will be on Monday at home against Wes-Del.
