The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors welcomed Strategence Capital with a ribbon cutting celebration on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Strategence Capital opened a new location at 1127 North Main Street in Bluffton.

Strategence draws its name from a combination of the words strategy, intellectual integrity, and diligence. Strategence Capital currently has 20 staff members in four locations: Fort Wayne; Bluffton; Van Wert, Ohio; and Morris, Minnesota. As an independent investment firm, their mission is to educate, assist and advise the client in their financial journeys and then deliver the implementation of their best strategies, decreasing anxieties and hassle.

Jordan Arnold, a native of Wells County, will be working and managing the Bluffton location helping clients with retirement plan services, wealth management, and financial planning. “I am very excited to serve the community I grew up in,” said Arnold.

Tim Stoller, founder of Strategence Capital, said, “Jim Collins, a great business author, once said that it is important to get the right people on the bus and Jordan is the right person. We have a lot to be thankful for.”

Arnold connected with Graig Stettner while participating in the Wells County Leadership Academy program a few years ago. Stettner was one of the facilitators in the program and Arnold reached out after researching Strategence Capital further. “I had an interest in investing and financial planning and I started to follow Graig on LinkedIn. I realized his posts matched up with my financial beliefs, along with his faith,” stated Arnold. “I didn’t want to start in a company at ground zero and decided to reach out to Graig to seek advice and direction. Graig said they had an office available in Fort Wayne and we talked further about the opportunity and here I am.”

Arnold joined Strategence in 2019, splitting his time between the Van Wert and Fort Wayne offices, while building connections in Wells County, with hopes of opening an office in Bluffton. Arnold is a member of Bluffton Rotary and connected with Tim Babcock with Dale, Huffman & Babcock about moving into their old space. “The building was remodeled in the past few years with all new furniture; everything fell into place, and it was an easy move in January,” said Arnold.

“Community involvement and connections are so important,” stated Arnold. “The Chamber of Commerce has done a great job amplifying the community involvement. This allowed me to make connections to some really good people in the community that I might not otherwise have had that opportunity.”

Strategence Capital works with employers, businesses, individuals, and foundations managing wealth and planning for the future. “We bring a different blending in what we do, bringing our values, creativity, wisdom, and ability to the relationships to help our clients where they want to be,” explained Stettner.

Arnold said a lot of questions are asked, digging down deep and discovering what the client wants to accomplish is important in the process. “Getting to know people and having an advocate on your side is where I come into play and hold clients accountable for the financial goals they set for their future.”

Strategence Capital hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 1pm, and by appointment for after hours.
