How amazing it can be to find a prom dress for $10 and then know that the proceeds from that sale will remain in the community to help others.

The Wells County Foundation LiGHT committee which provides grant money for women and children will be the recipient of the sale profits from the event that was held at The First United Methodist Church on March 11th & 12th.

Thank you to everyone who shopped and those who donated prom/bridesmaid dresses. The special needs students from Adams/Wells were given a time to shop and their helpers brought new dresses donated from a bridal shop. Donations of prom/bridesmaid dresses are accepted all year long.

We appreciate our volunteers who worked at the sale, Kim Downey, Jennifer Jesse, Karen Merkle, Mary Ellen McEvoy, Ann Osborn, Janet Ramseyer, Janella Stronczek, Amber Williamson and Andrew Feeback who moved display racks, and transported, racked and sorted dresses.

We are grateful for the businesses/agencies who accepted our flyers to advertise the sale and The News Banner for printing our sale announcement and taking photos to run the day of our event.

Thank you to all who helped make our event successful.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Feeback
