INCIDENTS
City:
Monday, 2:26 p.m., multiple law enforcement officers responded to a residence in the Old Creek addition on a report of a man threatening self-harm with a rifle. The situation was resolved and the firearms were removed from the residence.
Monday, 2:28 p.m., outside of the emergency room at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Multiple law enforcement officers responded on a report of a man who was in the emergency room detained by police but who walked out and was now being held on Cherry Street by an officer. Situation was resolved.
Monday, 9:52 p.m., Lancaster Estates mobile home park. Caller reported someone was attempting to enter the mobile home of the caller. Officer dispatched but saw no one.
Tuesday, 1:42 a.m., residence in the 900 block of West Wabash Street. Wells County EMS and Bluffton police responded to the residence on a report of a man in his 80s who was unresponsive. Coroner contacted.
Tuesday, 3:59 a.m., NAPA Auto Parts, 643 N. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officers responded. No sign of foul play found.
Ossian:
Monday, 10:54 p.m., Ogden Place apartments. Caller reported hearing someone on the roof of the apartment complex. Officer responded within two minutes but saw no one on the roof or around the apartments.
ARRESTS
Brian Wayne Lessing, 29, Portland; five counts of burglary of a dwelling, all Level 5 felonies. Bond set at $100,000.
John Wayne McCoy, 25, Fort Wayne; possession of cocaine or some other narcotic drug, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
Brian Wilson Snyder, 34, La Fontaine; probation violation. No bond set.
Joseph Donald Edward Brindle, 25, Bluffton; five counts of invasion of privacy, all Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $7,500.

John L. Selking, 62, rural Decatur; 49 mph-30 zone, Jackson Street in the Lancaster Central Elementary school zone.
