Thursday, 2:16 p.m., 1529 Lancaster St., Praxis. Report of a battery. When officers arrived, the alleged victim did not want to file charges. The facility director also declined to provide information for a report. No further action taken by police.

Thursday, 10:48 p.m., 1529 Lancaster St., Praxis. Report that a subject had been upset and left the facility after trying to damage property and threatening the staff. No crime was reportedly committed but facility staff wanted the subject removed off the property.

Friday, 11:06 a.m., 100 block of West Spring Street. Irate customer warned for trespass.

ACCIDENTS

Friday, 8:52 a.m., Lamar and Main streets. David R. Curtis, 17, Bluffton, was driving a Chevy Malibu when he was distracted by a spilling drink. He looked away from the roadway and struck a light pole. Damage exceeded $2,500.

FIRES

Friday, 11:08 a.m., 1100E U.S. 224, Norwell High School. Multiple fire departments dispatched to an activated fire alarm. The alarm was apparently caused by smoke in an auto shop and not an actual fire.

Evan W. Troxel, 27, Bluffton; operating with expired plates, Main Street and Dustman Road.

ARRESTS

Lisa A. Bailey, 55, Bluffton. Driving while suspended; released on her own recognizance.

Seth K. Davis, 20, Warren. Probation violation; no bond set.
