City:

Monday, 5:02 p.m., Bluffton Woods mobile home park pool. Two women made threatening comments to a 14-year-old boy after seeing the boy throw a ball at a stray cat. Officer responded and calmed the situation.

Monday, 10:03 p.m., Bluffton City Gym, 128 E. Market St. Basketball player whistled for a technical foul angrily stormed out of the gymnasium, breaking a wooden fire door in the process.

Tuesday, 6:09 a.m., residence in the 700 block of Eastmoor Drive. Caller reported being scammed.

Tuesday, 7:44 a.m., mobile home in the 900 block of Grove Street, Maplewood Estates mobile home park. Loud verbal altercation outside of a mobile between a man and a woman who had been formerly engaged to be married. Officers responded. Situation calmed.

Tuesday, 8:21 a.m., residence in the 100 block of East Washington Street. Loud verbal altercation between a husband and wife. Officer responded. Situation calmed.

County:

Monday, 10:56 a.m., residence on Hoosier Highway north of 300S. Deputies responded to a report of a loud verbal altercation between the homeowner and other occupants of the residence the homeowner was trying to evict. All involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

Monday, 6:10 p.m., Meridian Road at the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing. Large holes developing in the pavement next to the tracks at the crossing.

Tuesday, 8:25 a.m., 400S at 200E. Someone abandoned a snowmobile next to the road.

Tuesday, 8:58 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic  disturbance at a residence on Willow Road. Situation calmed, parties separated, no arrests.

Hayley J. Franklin, 26, Hartford City; speeding and failure to provide vehicle registration certificate, Clark Avenue at Manor Drive.

Gregory N. Milholland, 65, Decatur; 42 mph-35 zone, Ind. 218 at Meridian Road in Poneto.
