The Norwell Band Boosters will host a community showcase for the Norwell High School Winter Guards and Winter Percussion Ensembles’ 2022 shows on Thursday, March 17, at 8 p.m. in the Norwell High School Gymnasium.

Performing will be the Norwell Varsity Winter Guard with their show “Suspended Between” which includes suspension throughout the performance using aerial silks.

The Norwell Middle School Junior Varsity Winter Guard will have their show, “The Electromagnetic Spectrum.” The Norwell Cadet Winter Guard (members are comprised of Lancaster and Ossian Elementary students) will have their show “Lovely Lilies.” The Norwell Winter Percussion Ensemble will present “Everyday Heroes” – a show paying tribute to the true heroes in recent years through the worldwide pandemic.

There is no cost for admission but there will be opportunity to give a free will donation. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.  The Norwell Winter Performing Arts programs are under the direction of Cory Kelly, who is assisted by Brittany Satterthwaite, guard director, and Alyssa Newbill, assistant band director.

Each group is excited to have the opportunity to perform for their community, according to a press release. The Norwell Band Boosters is a 501c3 organization.
