Happenings in Zanesville:
At the Tower Life Center Upward Basketball is still going on on Saturdays through March 5. The fun games begin at 8 a.m. and
continue to 3 p.m. Come on down and watch the boys and girls play.
At the Zanesville Community Church of God worship service begins at 10 a.m. every Sunday. Women’s Bible study is held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.Men’s Bible study is held on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Their
Coffee Cafe is open every weekday morning from 7:30 to 10 a.m. You can find other information on their Facebook page.
It doesn’t seem it is that time of year yet but the area Men’s Lenten Breakfasts begin on Saturday, March 12.
This first one is held at the Zanesville United Brethren Church on Broadway.
The breakfast is serve at 8 a.m. with a program to follow. All men and boys are invited to attend.
Do you have a special talent? You may want to enter a submission to Turnstone’s Center Stage talent show that is open to all musicians,
acrobats, dancers, jugglers, and all others with special talents. Submissions will be open through March 15 with preliminary rounds in April.
The final event will be on May 12 at the Clyde Theatre. Check out the website for this event. You could be a winner! I will remind you to call me if you want to help the Zanesville Lions pay the expenses at the Zanesville Lions Community Park. We keep up the park with grants
and money derived by fundraisers and lots of volunteer labor. Our fundraisers throughout this year are our Pizza Hut punch cards, our
