City:
Wednesday, 6:06 p.m., residence in the 1000 block of South Oak Street. Bluffton Police officers assisted the Wells County Probation Department in searching the residence. Megan Renee Edwards, 19, of that address, was charged with possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. She was also later charged with violating probation. She was released on her own recognizance on the drug charges but no bond was set on the probation violation charge.
Wednesday, 9 p.m., mobile home on Cari Drive in the Bluffton Woods mobile home park. A man and a woman arguing loudly. Officers responded. Situation calmed, parties refused to separate. Officers were called back at 9:42 p.m. and again the situation was calmed, but both parties were warned for disorderly conduct. Officers then responded to the same address at 9:26 a.m. Thursday and this time each claimed to have been battered by the other. Information taken for a report. Drug paraphernalia reportedly confiscated and destroyed.
Wednesday, 9:18 p.m., residence in the 600 block of West Market St. Karri Ann Davis, 33, listed as homeless, arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor, and driving while suspended with a prior conviction, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $3,000.
Wednesday, 10:40 p.m., Mulberry Street at Wiley Avenue. Single vehicle crash. Wells County EMS and Bluffton Fire Rescue dispatched to the scene. The male driver declined treatment at the scene but he was arrested. Wes Ricker, 36, Bluffton, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalency of .15 percent or more, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, a Class A infraction. Bond set at $1,500. Bonded. There was no further information regarding the traffic accident other than the vehicle involved sustained heavy front-end damage.
Thursday, 11:48 a.m., Office of Family and Children, 221 W. Market St. Bluffton police officer served a Blackford County arrest warrant on a man who had just walked into the office.

Thursday, 2:11 a.m., Wells County Sheriff Sgt. Andrew Campbell and K-9 partner Leo assisted the Markle Police Department in tracking down two suspects who reportedly fled from a vehicle that a deputy marshal had pulled over on High Street. The two were reportedly located hiding in an unlocked van parked on Scott Street.
Ossian:
Wednesday, 10:53 p.m., residence in the 400 block of West LaFever Street. Caller reported someone had scratched his 2005 Dodge pickup truck.
Thursday, 11:26 a.m., Lutheran Health Physicians Group. Caller reported the previous day an angry patient stormed out of the building and damaged the electronic handicap door.
ACCIDENTS
County:
Wednesday, 3 p.m., 900N near 450E. Douglas R. Hill, 65, rural Ossian, was driving a 2013 Ford F-250 pickup truck east on 900N. Ronald L. Kenworthy, 36, rural Poneto, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado west on 900N. The driver’s side view mirrors of the two trucks clipped each other causing more than $1,000 damage.
Wednesday, 5:10 a.m., Mark Davis, 55, rural Markle, hit a deer with his 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. Damage to the van exceeded $2,500.
