The Wells County Council has renewed its $500,000 line of credit to the regional sewer district.

RSD’s attorney Mark Burry and County Engineer Nate Rumschlag were before the council Tuesday with the appropriation request, which would be funded from Rainy Day. Burry said the county commissioners agreed to use economic development funds to pay off the existing RSD loan to expedite the loan’s renewal for the next project.

Burry said the plan is to send the Craigville work out to bid next month.

He also said he heard from representatives of the state revolving loan fund, who indicated it would streamline funding for work in Kingsland and Toscin next.
