Bluffton’s boys’ swim team placed second out of 15 teams at the Jay County Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigersharks scored 481 points, finishing only behind first-place Oak Hill, which scored 519.
Bluffton took first place in all three relays.
Dalton Rogers, Colin Magdich, Dylan King, and Gavin Yergler won the 200 medley relay with a time of 25.44.
Magdich, Bryson Mayer, King, and Caleb Geimer won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:33.77.
Mayer, Rogers, Yergler, and Geimer won the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:39.72.
Geimer also won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:05.75 and the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.11.
Mayer finished second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:42.75.
St. Marys finished third with 230 points, followed by Centerville with 217 and Jay County with 200.
Bluffton’s Lady Tigersharks placed eighth out of 15 teams with 136.5 points.
Annika Linderwell finished third in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:09.37 and fifth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:19.95.
Zoey Schmidt finished fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:03.03.
Linderwell, Lucia Corkwell, Schmidt, and Olivia Priester also finished seventh in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:57.8.
Oak Hill placed first in the girls’ standings with 448 points, followed by Jay County with 309.5, New Bemen with 248, Centerville with 229, and Coldwater with 188.
Bluffton will be back in the pool on Tuesday with a home meet against Marion.
