The Town of Markle, Indiana (“Town”), acting by and through its Town Council (“Council”), has received an offer from Andrew Scott Douglas to purchase the following Town-owned real estate:
197 E. Morse St. Markle, IN
The amount of the offer proposed to be accepted is $125,000. The offer will be considered at a special meeting of the Town Council to be held on Monday, November 2, 2026. On that date, beginning not earlier than 3:00 p.m. (local time) and at such time as the matter is reached on the agenda, Council shall conduct a public hearing on the acceptance of that offer. Said hearing shall be held in the Markle Town Hall, 154 E. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana 46770. During that hearing members of the public may comment upon the proposed sale in person or in writing. This notice is published pursuant to Indiana Code § 36-1-11-4.2.
