Sale of Township Tanker Trucks by Sealed Bid
Jefferson Township will receive sealed bids for the sale of two tanker trucks:
Tanker 605 — 1994 International 2,000-gallon tanker
Minimum bid: $35,000
Tanker 606 — 1997 Freightliner 2,000-gallon tanker
Minimum bid: $20,000
Bids must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Jefferson Township Trustee Office, 1645 Hillcrest Dr., Ossian, IN 46777.
All bids must be clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Tanker Sale” and must include the bidder’s name and phone number.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Jefferson Township meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The vehicles are being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties, expressed or implied. Jefferson Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The tankers may be inspected by appointment by contacting the Trustee at 260-622-6010 or trustee@jeffersontownshipwellsin.gov.
Successful bidders will be notified and must remit payment within five days after the tanker is available for release.
