Gavyn D. Orlando, 19, of Hartford City, passed away from injuries sustained in an accident Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Wells County.
He was born March 23, 2007, in Bluffton to Jonathan Orlando and Jill (Carnes) Orlando.
Survivors include his parents, Jonathan and Jill Orlando of Hartford City; one brother, Grayer Orlando; and two sisters, Gabriella Orlando and Giovanna Orlando, all of Hartford City; paternal grandfather, John Lancaster of Montpelier; paternal grandmother, Melissa (Tim) Iacobacci of Dayton, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Renda Heyerly, Montpelier; maternal great-grandmother, Darlene Twibell, Montpelier; paternal great-grandparents, Mark and Pennie Lancaster, Poneto. He is survived by several aunts and uncles; as well as several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Denny Carnes.
Family and friends may gather at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, Indiana, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. with viewing an hour prior on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Walker & Glancy funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
