Roger Dale Nunley, 71, passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida, on March 5, 2026.
He was born Oct. 23, 1954, in Tennessee to Franklin and Dorothy Nunley and they raised their family in Indiana. Roger moved to Texas where he worked, and spent his retirement years in Florida and enjoyed selling fruit and vegetables and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Nunley; one daughter, Erin (Sean) Butcher; one son, Ryne (Morgan) Nunley; six grandchildren; five sisters, Betty (Jan) Masterson, Ann (David) Alvaro, Judy (Russell) Baur, Cynthia (Darryl) Smith and Denise (Steven) Heiniger; and many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Nunley; and two brothers, Donald Nunley and Rory Nunley.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date
