Phillip Dewayne Hough, 78, of Geneva, passed away peacefully at his residence on Feb. 23, 2026.
Phillip was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Geneva, to the late Robert and Crystal (Grogg) Hough.
On July 16, 1971, Phillip married his beloved wife, Deborah (Norton) Hough, who survives.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Hough; sons, Richard Hough of Geneva, Shane Hough of Bryant, and Jason Hough of Michigan City; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Phillip is also survived by his siblings, Judy Darlene Kelly of Bluffton, Michael Lee Hough of Geneva, Brenda (Rick) Lea of Portland, and Roger Hough of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Hough, and his sister, Wanda Langston.
A calling for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, in Geneva. Followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, with Johnny Everidge officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Geneva VFW and the Berne American Legion.
