Emerson L. Jones, 85, of Upland, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026.
Emerson was born Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1940, in Huntington County to the late Clarence E. and Florence Olive (York) Jones. He married Edith “Ann” (Moorman) Jones Friday, June 30, 1961 in Warren.
He will be forever missed by his wife of nearly 65 years, Edith “Ann” (Moorman) Jones of Upland; children, Jack (Jenny) Jones of Marion, Kenny (Sheri) Jones of Van Buren, Steve (Cindy) Jones of Warren, Theresia (Rod) Stevens of Van Buren, John (Ronda) Jones of Van Buren and Mike (Angie) Jones of Upland; brothers, Bob (Barb) Jones of Warren and Charles (Chris) Jones of Markle; sisters, Shirley Lamont of Warren and Mary Jones; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Florence Olive (York) Jones; brother, Allen Jones; sisters, Jean and Betty Jones; and great-grandson, Axel Dressler.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 at Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N. Matilda St. Warren, IN. A service to celebrate Emerson’s life will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Connie Hull officiating.
