Richard Allen Fear, 82, of Foley, Alabama, formerly of Montpelier, passed away Dec. 16, 2025.
He was born on March 19, 1943, in Montpelier to the late Banks D. and Helen M. (Michael) Fear.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Jeana Dillon of Foley; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul E. Fear.
Family and friends may gather from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located, 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will follow visitation with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
