Patti Jo Teague–Osborn, 57, of rural Poneto, passed away on Friday morning, Dec. 5, 2025, at Stillwater Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Patti was born on Oct. 18, 1968, in Bluffton to Jerry L. and Joanna (Jump) Penrod. She graduated from Southern Wells High School in 1987. She was a long-time employee of Agland Grain and for the last 13 years, she worked at AgBest Cooperative in the Agronomy division located in Hartford City. Patti loved her family, her dog, Baylea, and collecting bears.
On June 18, 2005, Patti and Todd Osborn were married in Tennessee.
Survivors include her husband Todd Osborn of Poneto; her children, Anna (Chase) Adams of Bluffton, Johnathan Osborn of Poneto, Suzanne (Brad) Smith of Ingalls, Indiana, Travis Osborn of Marion and Austin (Sadie) Osborn of Fort Wayne; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her mother, Joanna Penrod; and her siblings, Greg (Tonya) Penrod of Bluffton, Kathy (Keith) Fiechter of Decatur, David (Timisha) Penrod of Warren and Shelley (Bart) Kimmel of Fishers; her mother-in-law, Carol Osborn of Bluffton; and many nieces and nephews.
Patti is preceded in death by her son, Spencer Teague; her father, Jerry Penrod; and her father-in-law, Lynn Osborn.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Rustic Lodge Shelter at Ouabache State Park in Bluffton.
Please dress casually and bring a story to share. Instead of sending flowers the family would prefer a memorial in Patti’s memory to Friends Who Care Cancer Relief Foundation, Stillwater Hospice or the Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, directed to the funeral home.
