Taylor Scott Thomas Pauley, 30, of Bluffton passed away Friday morning, Sept. 12, 2025, at his residence.
Taylor was born June 13, 1995, in Bluffton to Jason Pauley and Sonya (Gomez) Turner. A 2014 graduate of Bluffton High School, Taylor participated in the Welding program. This is where his journey began to becoming a very talented welder and tradesman.
A hard worker, Taylor, started and operated T & C Lawn & Landscaping at 14-years-old. He was a welder at Edge Manufacturing and was currently working for Longenberger Excavating located in Uniondale, Indiana.
Taylor loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding ATVs! He enjoyed traveling and always had a spot picked out to visit next. He was a true friend, if anyone needed his help, Taylor would be on his way!
Survivors include his father, Jason and Heather Pauley of Bluffton; his mother, Sonya and Shane Turner of Warren; and his stepfather, Chris Wolf of Bluffton.
Taylor was a very proud big brother to his siblings, Shay d’Lyn (Timothy) Davis of Fort Wayne, Gaige Pauley of Keystone, Brycen (fiancé Brianna) Wolf, Garrett Pauley, Gabryella Pauley and Malena Moya, all of Bluffton; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Scott and Louise Mendenhall of Bluffton and Mike and Christine Ferguson of Ossian.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Pauley; and grandmother, Brenda Pauley.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton and for one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton.
Memorials may be made in Taylor’s memory to the Bluffton High School Welding Program and can be sent to the funeral home.
