Lynn Osborn, 83 of Bluffton, formerly of Chester Township. Wells County, entered eternal life on Tuesday evening, Feb. 4, 2025, passing at Christian Care Retirement Community.

Lynn was born on May 6, 1941, in Petroleum to J. Paul and Ellen J. (Holsinger) Osborn. He graduated from Chester Center High School in 1959 and not too many years later, he married his high school sweetheart, Carol Canady in 1961. Lynn owned and operated Osborn Feed and Grain for most of his life and was a Sohigro manager for many years. Lynn enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing and camping. He loved going on vacations, cruises and most of all spending time with his family. During the last ten years, he enjoyed wintering in Sebring Florida, with his wife Carol. Lynn was a supporter of local 4-H clubs, FFA, and a member of Friends of 5 Points School and Southern Wells Community Church. 

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ellen Osborn, grandson, Spencer Teague, and siblings, Ruth Ann Wolfenberger and J.P. Osborn.

Loving survivors include his wife, Carol Osborn of Bluffton, children, Shelley (Bart) Kimmel of Fishers, and Todd (Patti) Osborn of Poneto, grandchildren, Suzanne (Brad) Smith of Pendleton, Miranda (Ethan) Hawes of Houston, Anna (Chase) Adams of Bluffton, Dillon Kimmel (Kyle Fassett) of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Logan (Daphne) Kimmel of Lisle, Illinois, Travis Osborn of Marion, Austin Osborn (Sadie Krohn) of Fort Wayne, and Johnathan Osborn of Poneto, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember the life and legacy of Lynn Osborn on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, from 1:30-5 p.m. at Christian Care North Shores Activity Center, located at 1111 W. Shore Dr. in Bluffton.

The family would like to thank Christian Care and Stillwater Hospice for their loving and compassionate care for Lynn and the family, as well as their Pastor Adam Carroll for officiating a private family service.
