The Allen County Athletic Conference wrapped up its annual volleyball tournament at Heritage High School over the weekend.
The Adams Central Flying Jets were the champions, going a perfect 3-0 and defeating Woodlan 2-1 in the championship.
Bluffton and Southern Wells finished with the same record, but the Tigers beat the Raiders in a sweep in Game 3.
Bluffton’s results
Game 1: 2-0 Heritage (25-9, 25-19). Stat leaders were Maryn Schreiber four kills, Isla Gibson five assists, Marly Drayer eight digs and Schreiber, Alexandria Koby and Sophie Eisenhut one block.
Game 2: 2-0 Woodlan (25-18, 25-14). Stat leaders were Schreiber and Eisenhut four kills, Kamryn Ault eight assists, Konley Ault, Marly Drayer and Rori Drayer one ace, Konley Ault nine digs and Eisenhut two blocks.
Game 3: Bluffton over Southern Wells (25-19, 25-17). Stat leaders were Schreiber 14 kills, Kamryn Ault 12 assists, Konley Ault, Marly and Rori Drayer two aces, Marly Drayer 16 digs and Schreiber and Koby one block.
Southern Wells’ results
Game 1: Woodlan 2-0 (25-8, 25-10).
Game 2: Bluffton (25-19, 25-17).
Game 3: Heritage (25-23, 5-23).
Stats for the tournament were Abbie Powell 21 kills, five blocks, six aces and 14 digs. Kila Shelley 11 kills, two blocks, two aces and four digs. Sydney Alstoft two aces and 36 assists. Kaylea Coffel 19 digs and Bristal Chapman seven digs.
Bluffton (7-13) will host New Haven at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept 30.
Southern Wells (11-11) will host Tri-Central at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30.
