Kathy Sue McDonald, 65, of Montpelier, passed away at 7:13 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born on Friday, June 12, 1959, in Bluffton, to the late James Milton and Betty Jane Marshall. She married Gary A. McDonald on Saturday, June 15, 1991, in Montpelier.
Survivors include husband, Gary A. McDonald, Montpelier; daughters, Melissa K. (Brady) Johnson, Liberty Center, Amanda Jo McDonald, South Whitley, and Megan R. (Ryan) McDonald, Fort Wayne; son, James D. (Dianne) Hess, Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna (Paul) Morgan, Liberty Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Milton and Betty Jane (Booher) Marshall; and sister, Shirley Marshall Guldice.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, located at 109 W. Windsor Street, Montpelier on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, one hour before the service.
A service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, with Pastor Wayne Couch of Healing Waters Ministry of Mt. Etna officiating. The burial will follow the service in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
