Thursday, 2:56 p.m., 190 W Maple Rd. Bluffton. Two boys called to report their two dogs had run away when let out for a bathroom break. Advised to tell parents when they returned.
Thursday, 3:56 p.m., 100E and 400N, Bluffton. Citation issued for speeding.
Thursday, 4:03 p.m., Wells County Jail. Warrant served to Ashley Avonne Conliff, 36, Uniondale. Conliff was arrested for a false report concerning a missing person, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and driving while suspended with a prior suspension in 10 years, all Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $4,500. Bonded.
Thursday, 4:07 p.m., Wells County Jail. Warrant served to Brian Digman.
Thursday, 4:08 p.m., Wells County Jail. Warrant served to Jerron Mikle Jackson, 30, Bluffton. Jackson was arrested for resisting law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine, both Level 6 felonies, criminal mischief, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage, all Class B misdemeanors, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bonded.
Thursday, 4:08 p.m., Wells County Jail. Warrant served to Joshua Lee Norman Sr., 48, Bluffton. Norman was arrested for invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,500. Bonded.
Thursday, 4:36 p.m., Walnut Street and Meridian Road, Poneto. Report of a male driving a motorcycle with a small child.
Thursday, 4:49 p.m., 11 E Washington St., Poneto. Caller reported something had gotten into a rabbit hutch and killed a rabbit. Caller believed it to be neighbor’s dog.
Thursday, 6 p.m., 600E and S.R. 116. Report of grass in the roadway, causing dangerous driving conditions. Woman mowing nearby said she would clear it up when she was finished.
Thursday, 6:59 p.m., 5000 block of North Miller Street, Uniondale. Report of fighting in the area. Upon arrival, the deputy was told that a neighboring individual had been kidnapped. The individual was found at the location and said the other party had incited a physical altercation. Parties were separated and advised to contact if anything further happened.
Thursday, 11:15 p.m., Lancaster and Adams streets. Report of a vehicle tailgating, flashing brights and refusing to pass. The driver denied this, saying the caller was the one exhibiting that driving behavior. The driver was found to have a suspended license.
Friday, 3:48 a.m., 100E and 300N, Bluffton. Vehicle found locked, with hazards on. Deputy allowed some time to pass to allow the driver to return, but had the vehicle towed after 1.5 hours.
Friday, 5:33 a.m., 450E and 500N, Craigville. Citation issued for 65 in a 45 mph zone.
Friday, 10:38 a.m., S.R. 218 and 100W, Poneto. Vehicle with flat tire. Towed.
