Gloria Jean Kilmer, 75, of Marion, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at Marion Health.

Gloria was born on Dec. 13, 1948, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Floyd and Wanda (DeArmond) Tarr. She graduated from Southern Wells High School with the Class of 1967. After high school, she married the love of her life George Kilmer, and they were married until his passing on Aug. 6, 2012. Gloria worked in the assembly department at Franklin Electric in Bluffton. She retired on Jan. 3, 2014, after 45 years. 

Gloria attended Lakeview Wesleyan Church in Marion. She loved shopping, telling jokes and crocheting. She also enjoyed cooking and was always trying new recipes, especially at Christmas time.

Gloria is survived by her brothers, John (Jenny) Tarr and David Tarr. Several nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by a brother Donald Tarr and a sister Elaine Tobias.

Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024. Services will start immediately following the visitation at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Brian Baughman officiating.
