A new Japanese restaurant is opening Feb. 18 at 121 North Main St. in Bluffton.
Mt. Fuji Sushi and Hibachi will be serving various dishes, with sushi, ramen and several teriyaki entrees featured on their menu. There are also various hibachi meals available, offering a selection of steak, lobster, shrimp and chicken.
The restaurant has another location in Monticello, Indiana, which has been open for almost a year. Both locations have the same management crew.
The meal prices range from $5.99 for two pieces of sushi to $29.99 for filet mignon and lobster tail. A full menu is available outside the front door of the restaurant facing North Main Street.
Mt. Fuji is allowed to serve alcohol, but according to Tony Garton, who serves on the Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the restaurant still needs to take some additional actions before they can serve them.
Mt. Fuji’s hours are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Mt. Fuji is available on DoorDash and carryout options are open until 20 minutes before closing.
Almost 70 people can be seated at one time on a first come first serve basis. Parking is available off of East Perry Street.
