Danny Lee Hidy, 89, of Bluffton, died Feb. 4, 2024, in Hartford City. He was born May 21, 1934, in Jay County. He married Ruby Irene Twigg June 19, 1955.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, Donna Betz and Bruce (Linda) Hidy; grandchildren, Christy Day, Traci Clark, Brandi Smith, Tyler Hidy, Kyle Hidy, Aaron Hidy, Ashlee Ricketts, Rachael Miller, Julie Coffey and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parenths, Cleo Hidy and Mary (Houck) Hidy, son, Steven Michael Hidy, and brothers, Tommy Rowe Hidy and Richard Dale Hidy.
Family and friends may gather for viewing from 3-7 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2024, at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W. Windsor St. in Montpelier. There will be a service at 1 p.m. Feb. 10, 2024, at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pennville I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
