INCIDENTS

City:

Wednesday, 5:13 p.m., 200 block of Capri Court. Caller requested welfare check for coworker. Two subjects advised the subject had just left the residence and was going to an unknown location. 

Wednesday. 6:32 p.m., 600 block of West Cherry Street. Caller reported unknown subject kicking door in, leaving dents on multiple occasions. Advised to install camera system. 

Wednesday, 10:55 p.m., Bluffton Police Department. Caller advised she wanted to speak to an officer but would not give info over phone. Subject wanted car back from her parents.

Thursday, 12:33 a.m., WEG. Open 911 call from this location, no answer on callback. Officer walked through plant with manager and found no issues, aside from the obvious. 

Thursday, 1:23 a.m., Ind. 124 and Elm Grove Road. Subject unaware that suspended driving privileges effectively removed his privilege to drive. Vehicle towed, subject arrested. 

Thursday, 2:23 a.m., 1200 block of West Washington Street. Caller reported hearing beating on door. Unable to locate anyone. 

Thursday, 4:53 a.m., 400 block of West Wiley Avenue. Caller reported vandalism to his vehicle at 5 p.m. the day prior, has video of the happy hour hit. 

Thursday, 9:56 a.m., 1200 block of West Washington Street. Caller reported someone stealing metal for her roof while she was at work. The subject was installing the roof. 

Thursday, 12:14 p.m., Family Farm and Home.  Report of someone reportedly keying two vehicles. Subject denied the allegations and unlocked a no trespass warning to the business.

County:

Wednesday, 3:03 p.m., North Main Street and Ind. 224, Uniondale. Driver advised tire on vehicle felt loose, took it back home.

Wednesday, 7:38 p.m., Ind. 218 and 800 East, Bluffton. Officer transported subject to Wells County Jail.

Wednesday, 11:01 p.m., 4500 West 300 South, Liberty Center. Officer requested to stand by while subject collected vehicle from parents. 

Thursday, 6:38 a.m., Wells County Jail. No contact order served to Carrie Campbell at booking desk in the jail.

Thursday, 8:44 a.m., 7300 West 100 South, Warren. Report of a dispute between neighbors, trees, and property lines.

ARRESTS

Carrie Elizabeth Campbell, 30, Richmond, domestic battery — presence of a child less than 16-years-old, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $25,000. 

Jimmy Richard Robert Sheets, 45, Peru, sentence — court order — probation violation, a Class A misdemeanor. 

Alexander Lynn Price, 36, Geneva, contempt of court — civil. Bond set at $400. 

Matthew James Coombs, 21, Ossian, driving while suspended — prior suspension, A Class misdemeanor.
