Wednesday, 2:07 p.m., near 60 block of Westgate Road. Welfare check requested for subject.

Wednesday, 2:17 p.m., WEG. Caller reported a man made threats to smash another parties vehicle.

Wednesday, 2:45 p.m., Wells County Annex. Report of vehicle with continuous alarm sounding in Annex parking lot. Officer responded and heard no alarms.

Wednesday, 2:55 p.m., Walmart. Report of confused subject at service desk after WOW bus dropped him off.

Wednesday, 3:04 p.m., near the 400 block of Stillwater Drive. Caller reported a vehicle parked in her driveway. Does not know who the vehicle belongs to, no one in house.

Wednesday, 4:39 p.m., 200 block of East Market Street. Subject requested to speak with an officer at the back door to request permission to stand across the road from the library in order to obtain food from Kate’s Kitchen. Subject has received a no trespass warning from the library for conduct. Officer confirmed this was okay.

Wednesday, 5:10 p.m., 900 block of Grove Street. Caller reported unwanted woman in residence.

Wednesday, 7:08 p.m., 900 block of West Lancaster Street. Officer requested for custody issue. No issues during standby.

Wednesday, 11:24 p.m., 1300 block of Clark Avenue. Caller reported hearing a door creek. Officers found the wind as the guilty party.

Thursday, 6:22 a.m., Lions Park. Caller reported vehicle vandalized, inedible. Mercury Montigo was sprayed with ketchup, mustard, and dog food, and wrapped in Saran Wrap.

Thursday, 11:35 a.m., Walmart. Report of red and white cab semis blocking the flow of traffic. Officer made contact with both drivers, they left the lot.

Thursday, 1:19 p.m., 1000 block of West Cherry Street. Welfare check requested for subject.

Wednesday, 9:34 p.m., south Ind. 3 and west 750S, Warren. Injured deer on the road. The animal was deceased when the deputy arrived and the animal was removed. 

Wednesday, 11:25 p.m., residence on Sunrise Way, Bluffton. Woman reported her boyfriend was threatening to harm her. An officer had advised the woman earlier she couldn’t throw her boyfriend’s stuff outside. The officer told the deputy the woman may be intoxicated. When two deputies arrived, the woman was loud and belligerent, slurring her speech, and trouble keeping her balance. The woman provided text messages between the couple arguing, including a threatening text from the man. The woman said she wanted him removed from the lease, but a deputy advised the he couldn’t do that. The woman then stated the man was a drug dealer and handed over two pill grinders and empty marijuana containers. The woman called the man, and a deputy told them to leave each other alone. The man said he wouldn’t return, but didn’t want his stuff discarded and the woman agreed. The deputies left the scene, but were later called back to review a voicemail the man left on the woman’s phone in the time that passed. When they returned, she called him again, and a deputy told them to stop communicating with each other. 

Thursday, 8:39 a.m., north 300W and west Ind. 124, Bluffton. Semi blew a tire. 

Thursday, 10:43 a.m., west Ind. 218 and south 275W, Bluffton. Citation issued for speeding.

ACCIDENTS

Thursday, 5:56 a.m., CR east 100N, Bluffton. Austen M. Cook, 22, Bluffton, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on 100N near 600E and struck a deer. The deer was deceased at the scene. Damage exceeded $10,000.
