The Wells County Senior Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the Wells County Community Center at the 4-H Park, 1240 4-H Road.
There is no admission for the annual event, which will feature several programs and events geared for seniors. Several vendors will have booths as well.
Among the highlights:
• Free breakfast and lunch.
• LIPID panel blood work provided by Bluffton Regional Medical Center to the first 30 visitors. The test requires a 12-hour fast. BRMC will also do blood pressure checks all day.
• Unwanted medications can be dropped off at the booth staffed by the Wells County Sheriff’s Department.
• Peyton’s Northern/Kroger will have a giveaway at 1:30 p.m. Recipients must be present.
• Reduced cost basic cat and dog vaccinations will be done from 11 a.m. to noon by Bluffton Animal Clinic personnel.
• Scheduled presentations in the dining area are by the YMCA, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and by attorney David Anthony on topics of interest to senior citizens, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
