Celebrate National Library Week

April 23-29

‘There’s More To the Story’

Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there’s so much more to the story at the Wells County Public Library, including a library of things that includes mobile hotspots, Science Central and museum passes, board and yard games, musical instruments, and cake pans.

Our extensive library programming brings our community together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, story sessions, movie viewings, crafting classes, and presentations. Our library infrastructure advances our community by providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for businesses, job seekers, and entrepreneurs.

Help us celebrate all that the library offers during National Library Week 2023.

On Monday, April 24, you’re invited to pop into the library to get a free bag of popcorn or pretzels (while supplies last).

Daily events this week, Monday through Saturday, April 24-29, include:

• Enjoy free printing, copying, and faxing during the entire week.

• Check out displays in the various departments to learn more about the staff and their stories.

• Stop by the front desk to pick up a heart and share what you love most about WCPL to share the library love with others.

• Purchase a “We HEART Our Library” yard sign for $10 to help support the Friends of the Library, which provides funding for library events.
