Friday, 2:06 p.m. A caller from the Spring Wayne Apartments, 525 E. Spring st., reported that a small car appeared to have been involved in an accident and thought it should be checked out. Officers were unable to located the vehicle.
Friday, 5:51 p.m. Vehicle reported parked on the wrong side of the road in the 900 block of South Morgan Street.
Friday, 6:17 p.m. Juvenile female reportedly “attacked” by a group of juveniles at Roush Park. No medical care was needed.
Friday, 6:20 p.m. Vehicle reported stolen in the area of South Oak Street and West Washington Street. The vehicle was a moped and an individual was in custody.
Friday, 7:06 p.m. Reports of six to seven juveniles, males and females, some on scooters, standing in traffic. Officers caught up with the juveniles at Lancaster and Baldwin streets; parents were outside and they were advised of the complaints.
Friday, 8:59 p.m. Report of juveniles shooting each other with paint guns at the intersection of West Market and North Morgan streets.
Saturday, 3:02 a.m. Temporary vehicle registration found in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot.
Saturday, 5:08 a.m. Caller asked for a welfare check on an individual in the 100 block of North Johnson Street. Person was found and no problem was reported.
Saturday, 5:21 a.m. Caller asked for a welfare check on an individual at the Valley Park Apartments, 320 W. Dustman Road. Apartment appeared to be vacant.
Saturday, 9:41 a.m. Caller reported an animal problem on South Adams Street and West Cherry Street. Deceased dog found on the east side of the roadway south of Peyton’s Northern.
Saturday, 10:06 a.m., South Main and East Silver streets. Report of a female walking around with a baby in a blanket. Officer was unable to locate.
Saturday, 10:16 a.m. Street sign reported down at the intersection of South Adams Street and Western Avenue. Officer picked up sign.
Saturday, 10:49 a.m. Asset protection employees at Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St., requesting officer on a report of theft.
Saturday, 12:04 p.m. Power line swinging, connected to a residence, and guy wire at Bond and Washington streets reported down. The cable line was not a traffic hazard.
Saturday, 100 block of West South Street. Wallet or purse found in parking lot.
Saturday, 6:17 p.m. Accidental 911 call from the 1000 block of West South Street.
Saturday, 6:58 p.m., 1840 N. Main St. Report of large pieces of glass in the roadway. State highway stated they would attempt to get someone out today.
Saturday, 7:08 p.m., North Oak Street Extended. Neighbors reportedly driving through caller’s yard.
Saturday, 9:26 p.m. Caller reported suspicious individuals at a house at the intersection of West Cherry Street and Beth Avenue. Individuals said they were trying to find the owner of a stray dog.
Sunday, 12:56 a.m. Report of loud music from a residence in the 1200 block of West Central Avenue. Officer unable to locate.
Sunday, 4:47 a.m. Dog found north of the intersection of South Adams Street and West Cherry Street.
Sunday, 11:46 a.m. Two dogs running loose, attempting to cross North Main Street in the 700 block.
Sunday, 5:34 p.m. Abandoned vehicle reported near Wells County 100N and Ind. 116. Vehicle is out of roadway.
Sunday, 5:48 p.m., 100 block of West Wabash Street. Civil issue; dispute about the ownership of a dog.
Sunday, 5:59 p.m., 500 block of West Wabash Street. Report of two juveniles threatening another child. Officers spoke with individuals.
Sunday, 7:25 p.m., Budget Inn, 1090 N. Main St. Children told an adult that their parents were fighting. Verbal only.
Sunday, 7:48 p.m. Individual in the 1800 block of South Wayne Street said he was smoking cigarettes that were possibly laced with drugs, causing him pain in his side.
Sunday, 9:31 p.m. Individual reported leaving treatment facility at 1529 Lancaster St. Person located, given a ride to a convenience store.
Sunday, 11:37 p.m. Officer was out with several vehicles at the intersection of Wells County Road 450E and Elm Grove Road. Vehicle keeps stalling out but individuals believed they could get it home.
Monday, 12:24 a.m. Individual came to the Bluffton police station and reported her 16-year-old son has been missing for two weeks.
Monday, 11 a.m., 700 block of South Marion Street. Accidental 911 call.
Monday, 11:21 a.m. Individual reported to be smoking drugs in the 1800 block of South Wayne Street.

Friday, 12:59 p.m., residence on North Washington Street. Theft.
Friday, 2:45 p.m., Southeast Ind. 116 and East 300N, rural Bluffton. Ra Ba M. Kaw, 18, Fort Wayne, was driving east on 300N in a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz and was unable to stop at the intersection reportedly due to brake failure. Katherine L. Brown, 38, Bluffton, was travelling southbound on Ind. 116 in a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta and was unable to avoid collision with Kaw’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed by Freeman’s. Damage exceeded $5,000.
Friday, 3:34 p.m., 4198 Southeast Ind. 116, rural Bluffton. Elisabeth A. Kloppenstein, 29, Decatur, was driving a 2011 Kia Optima and was unable to avoid collision with a deer. The vehicle was towed by Pemberton’s. Damage exceeded $5,000.
Friday, 4:54 p.m., East 300N and North Main Street. Report of two men hitting something near the tracks for approximately 30 minutes.
Friday, 7:59 p.m., 2810E 250N, Bluffton. Juveniles fighting.
Saturday, 12:06 a.m., 9080S 600W, Warren. Several telephone poles leaning toward the roadway. One utility pole broken off in the roadway.
Saturday, 12:09 a.m., West 900S and South 100W. Utility pole snapped at the base.
Saturday, 12:31 a.m., South Hoosier Highway and South 100W. Tree blocking roadway. Highway Department contacted.
Saturday, 12:34 a.m., South 300W and West 1000S. Utility pole snapped at the base. Low wires hanging across the road. Highway Department responded with closed signs.

Saturday, 3:53 a.m., residence on West Wabash Street. Unconscious male appearing to have harmed himself. Two doses of Narcan administered. Individual pronounced dead on scene.
Saturday, 3:54 a.m., West 100S and South 300W. Removed limb from roadway.
Saturday, 9:14 a.m., 7060W 700S, Warren. Tree blocking roadway.
Saturday, 9:31 a.m., North Ind. 1 and East 700N. Semi lost lumber from its trailer. Roadway cleared.
Saturday, 11:55 a.m., 9080S 600W, Warren. Two utility poles in the roadway.
Saturday, 2:19 p.m., South adams Street and West Cherry Street, Bluffton. Driver stopped to help dog on the side of the roadway. Animal Shelter notified.
Saturday, 6:38 p.m., North 450E and East 300N. Rebecca A. Crist, 75, Craigville, was driving a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van northbound on 450E and swerved to avoid collision with a deer, exiting the roadway and hitting a utility pole. The vehicle was towed by Freeman’s. Damage exceeded $5,000.
Saturday, 8:08 p.m., South Adams Street and West Cherry Street. Loose dog.
Saturday, 9:21 p.m., North Ind. 1 and 1200N. Complaint of a driver crossing over the center line. Vehicle located. Driver said they were tired. A passenger took over driving.
Sunday, 2:50 a.m., U.S. 224 and County Road 400E, Markle. Angel Cunningham, 44, threw her phone and accidentally dialed 911 while arguing with Anthony Wymer, 41, in a vehicle. Deputies located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, and Cunningham admitted one of the items had cocaine residue. This was confirmed by a test. Bags with white powder were also found, but tests did not provide a definitive result.
Sunday, 6:52 p.m., 3595E 800S, rural Bluffton. Juvenile driving four wheeler recklessly. The juvenile fled into the woods when a deputy attempted to make contact. The deputy waited until the juvenile came out of the woods, and advised he lived nearby. The deputy followed the juvenile home and explained the situation to the juvenile’s mother, who apologized but was confrontational throughout the interaction. The deputy advised they did not have permission to drive in the nearby field and could not drive the unregistered ATV on roadways. Charges will be sent pending the repairs to the road’s surface.
Monday, 12:33 a.m., North Ind. 1 and East 800N. Traffic stop for an our headlight. The driver, Juan Gualberto Pa Cucul, 28, was then placed under arrest for never having recevied a license, a Class C misdemeanor.
Monday, 2:17 a.m., residence on Dustman Road, Bluffton. Request for assistance in transporting a man experience an allergic reaction to Bluffton Regional Medical Center. The man threatened police officers with a knife. The man was able to leave the hospital well, but officers decided to seek an arrest warrant.
Monday, 9:30 a.m., West Ind. 124 and North 300W. Citation issued for 74 in a 55 mph zone.
Monday, 9:41 a.m., West Ind. 124 and North 200W. Citation issued for 75 in a 55 mph zone.
Monday, 11:06 a.m., South 300W and West 400S. Vehicle died in southbound lane. Driver’s mother was coming to assist.
Ossian:
Friday, 10:15 p.m., Silo Farms. Two dogs fighting. One owner attempted to separate the dogs and was bit in the process. Deputy recorded bite marks on the individual, but did not locate any bites on either dog. No further action was taken.
Friday, 11:50 p.m., Ossian Furniture and Design. Gas line broken. Deputies assisted fire department with leak.
Friday, 11:57 p.m., Zuercher Lane and Terry Street. Reported screaming. Unable to locate source.
Sunday, 4:26 p.m., 8744N 500E. Key fob panic alarm. Identified as accidental.
Sunday, 6:18 p.m., 5903 East North Street. Report of a loud explosion and smell of sulfur. Nothing found.

Amber Rachelle Poole, 28, Bluffton; contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor, and dealing marijuana, a Level 5 felony. Bond set at $11,500. Bonded.
Zander Leigh Gardenour, 19, Bluffton; theft of a vehicle, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
