Bluffton Board of Works to meet Tuesday afternoon

The Bluffton Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the meeting room on the first floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

• Opening of bids for the wastewater biosolids project.

• Opening of bids for the wastewater treatment plant improvements.

Bluffton Parks Board will meet Wednesday afternoon

The board of the Bluffton Parks and Recreation Department will hold a special meeting at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the bids for Lancaster Park that were recently opened during a meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety.

Bluffton council, township boards will meet Thursday

The Bluffton Common Council and the boards of Harrison Township and Lancaster townships will meet together at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Bluffton’s city Hall, 128 E. Market St.

The purpose of the meeting will be for each unit of government to consider adopting an interlocal agreement creating a new fire protection territory and also to establish a fire territory equipment replacement fund. 

The Bluffton council must adopt an ordinance and the township boards will consider adopting a resolutions.

The meeting follows information presented in public meetings on Jan. 30, Feb. 20, and March 13.
