Youth as Resources, which funds youth-led projects in Wells County, is seeking requests for its current funding cycle. The deadline to submit requests is Monday, April 3.

The goal of YAR is to “inspire and instill excellence in youth through the provision of grants, written and approved by youth, for the purpose of community improvement.”

To be considered, a YAR request must meet the following criteria:

• It must be youth-led.

• It must meet a need in Wells County.

• It must have a sound budget.

The YAR board is responsible for awarding grants to local youth organizations to design and carry out community service projects.
