INCIDENTS

City:

Tuesday, 5:18 p.m., Harrison Plaza parking lot. Report of a woman passed out in a vehicle. Officers, Wells County EMS and Bluffton Fire Department first responders dispatched. The woman said she had fallen asleep before going inside to get groceries. Officer advised her to contact someone to drive her home.

Tuesday, 5:35 p.m., Almco Steel, 0059 N. Oak St. Extended. Burglar alarm. Officers responded. Alarm accidentally tripped.

Tuesday, 5:39 p.m., 1100 block of West Washington Street. Low hanging wire in the back yard of the residence. Bluffton Electric Utilities contacted.

Tuesday, 10:37 p.m., 500 block of South Bond Street. Report of a suspicious vehicle parked with its headlights on for the past three hours. Officer responded, located the vehicle and spoke with the driver who advised he was in town to pick up a refrigerator he had purchased on line.

Wednesday, 3:35 a.m., NAPA Auto Parts, 643 N. Main St. Burglar alarm. Officers responded. Alarm accidentally tripped by a delivery driver.

Ossian:

Tuesday, 10:52 p.m., Jefferson Street at Morton Street. Deputy pulled over a Jeep Patriot for having it’s passenger taillight out and arrested the driver of the Jeep, Jermia Latocque Underwood, 29, Fort Wayne, on one count of driving while suspended with a prior conviction for the same offense, a Class A misdemeanor. Underwood has a prior conviction July 17, 2019, in Wabash Superior Court for driving while suspended.

Tuesday, 6:05 a.m., Ind. 124 near 450E. Shane M. Dunwiddie, 36, rural Markle, hit a deer with his 2021 Toyota Tundra. Damage to the pickup truck exceeded $5,000.

Wednesday, 3:10 a.m., 300W near 200S. Cory J. Green, 31, Liberty Center, hit a deer with his 2014 Ram 1500. Damage to the pickup truck exceeded $2,500.
