Tuesday, 2:58 p.m., Bluffton Police Department, 204 E. Market St. Person came to the police station reporting fraud.
Tuesday, 10:17 p.m., Westgate Road in the Hi Lo addition. Report of a suspicious red sports car parked in front of the caller’s house, then moved slowly forward, sat for five minutes and then left. Officer checked the area but saw no vehicle matching the description.
Wednesday, 9:20 a.m., residence in the 500 block of West Wiley Avenue. Caller reported tires on a vehicle slashed overnight.
Wednesday, 10:40 a.m., residence in the 100 block of Northwood Drive. Caller reported discovering fraudulent charges made on her bank account.
County:
Tuesday, 10:54 p.m., 300W near 700N. Three calves in the road. Sheriff’s deputies responded, rounded up the cattle and returned them to their pen.
FIRE RUNS
Wednesday, 6:23 a.m., rental property at 4360E-900N. Smoke in the house. Ossian Fire Department dispatched and Bluffton and Uniondale fire departments dispatched for mutual aid. No fire. Source of smoke traced to a malfunctioning furnace. Bluffton and Uniondale were advised to disregard.
