Tuesday, 5:36 p.m., residence on Central Ave. Caller believes individual at the location is harming their family members. Safety plan created.
Tuesday, 8:11 p.m., Cedar Road at Ind. 124. Report than a man with a pole jumped in front of the vehicle and was trying damage the vehicle. Man advised the officer he was looking for a ride home from the caller. Officer provided transport.
Tuesday, 8:45 p.m., Budget Inn. Verbal altercation between a man and a woman.
Tuesday, 9:04 p.m., Budget Inn. Agency assist with a individual passed out.
Tuesday, 9:12 p.m., Budget Inn. Physical altercation between a man and a woman. Caller advised the woman hit the man.
Tuesday, 10:01 p.m., Walmart. Complaint of a vehicle running a stop sign. Officer located the vehicle and advised of the complaint. The driver did not recall running a stop sign.
Tuesday, 10:48 p.m., residence on West Townley Street. Complaint of loud music. Officer noted there was no noise coming from the location.
Wednesday, 7:04 a.m., Walmart. Semi parking problem. Drive advised he would be moving.
Wednesday, 7:53 a.m., West Poplar Street at South Johnson Street. Found bicycle.
Wednesday, 7:59 a.m., Wendy’s. Warning for a school bus stop violation.
Wednesday, 10:36 a.m., residence on West Wabash Street. Broken window. Caller reported a resident is threatening to kick in other doors.

Tuesday, 1:29 p.m., residence on East Morse Street. Report of possible fraud. Man said he was supposed to receive rebates from Menard’s, but they had not been delivered. Menard’s had advised the man to file a police report.
Tuesday, 2:08 p.m., 4837E 500N, Craigville. Employee had not shown up to work and was not replying to attempts to contact. Employer said this was very uncommon.
Tuesday, 2:37 p.m., Wayne Metals. Damage to semi truck by a forklift. Deputy advised the issue was a civil issue between the companies and would log the event but not file a report.
Tuesday, 3:31 p.m., residence on 600N, Uniondale. Neighbor’s dog escaped and bit the caller. The owner provided records for current rabies vaccination. Deputy advised the caller of quarantine procedures.
Tuesday, 9:02 p.m., South 300W at West 250S. Collision with a deer. Deer put down. Vehicle to be towed tomorrow.
Tuesday, 11:35 p.m., residence on West Hancock Street. Report of a possibly suicidal individual. Deputies made contact with the individual and determined they did not meet the critical intervention criteria.
Ossian:
Tuesday, 6:44 p.m., Silo Farms, Ossian. Report of possible abuse. Welfare check conducted. Subject advised they did not need assistance.
ACCIDENTS

Tuesday, 5:02 p.m., Ind. 1 near 1100N, Ossian. Ian H. Thomas, 22, Marion was driving a 216 Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck southbound and failed to see a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Rinda M. Towne, 67, Bluffton, stopped due road construction traffic. Thomas’s vehicle collided with Towne’s. Thomas advised he had been texting. Damage exceeded $1,000.
Tuesday, 5:50 p.m., East 100N, Bluffton. Larry W. Debolt, 69, Bluffton, was driving a 2018 Buick Envision eastbound on 100N and struck a deer. Damage exceeded $5,000.
FIRES
Wednesday, 6:42 a.m., 805 Prairie Lane, Ossian. Carbon monoxide alarm sounding in garage. No symptoms observed.
ARRESTS
Jonathan James Bradley, 28, Ossian; probation violation, a Level 6 felony. Bond not set.
Devon James Shultz, 29, Bluffton; dealing a controlled substance resulting in a death, a Level 4 felony; dealing Schedule I, II or III substance, a Level 4 felony; and dealing Schedule I, II or III substance, a Level 5 felony. Bond not set.
