City:
Monday, 2:05 p.m., Bluffton High School, 1 Tiger Trail. Student found in possession a vape pen.
Monday, 3:17 p.m., Pine Grove apartments. Female caller reported that a girl at the apartment complex is threatening to beat her up. Officers responded. Situation calmed.
Monday, 5:16 p.m., residence on North Oak Street Extended. Report of a man down and bleeding. Wells County EMS, Bluffton Fire Department first responders and officers dispatched. Wells County Coroner requested.
Monday, 6:01 p.m., Walmart Supercenter, 2100 N. Main St. Female caller reported that her husband was supposed to pick her up an hour ago at Walmart and still had not shown up. The man had reportedly dropped the woman off at Walmart and had went to Lowe’s and Farmers & Merchants State Bank. Efforts to call and text him had gone on without any response. Officers checked the area and located the husband in the produce section.
Monday, 7:10 p.m., residence in the 200 block of East Wiley Avenue. Report of several juveniles banging on the caller’s windows and then ran away. Officer checked the area but saw no one matching the description.
Monday, 10:20 p.m., residence in the 200 block of West South Street. Burglar alarm,. Officers responded. No sign of foul play found.
County:
Monday, 2:17 p.m., residence on 1000S east of 750E. Caller reported that his security cameras were capturing images of two men on his property removing his Kubota side-by-side from his pole barn.
Monday, 11:51 p.m., residence on North Miller Street in Uniondale. Woman reported that she parked her van in her brother’s driveway for a short visit and to drop some items off with her brother. She reported she left a window rolled down in the van. When she returned, her purse had been stolen along with cash and credit cards.
ARRESTS
Peter Alan Beckman, 43, Fort Wayne; invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $25,000.
Bradley Gene Hartman, 59, Bluffton; leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,000.
Dennis Davis Rogan, 32, Fort Wayne; probation violation. No bond set.
Ronald Wade Carpenter, 56, rural Ossian; operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalency of .15 percent or more and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, both Class A misdemeanors. Bond set at $1,500.
