Fire Department personnel recently assisted employees of the bank’s Bluffton branch with  hands-on extinguisher training. “This training will equip the employees of the Bluffton branch to quickly and accurately respond to a fire emergency,” the bank said in a statement.

The safety training is available, at no cost, for workplaces, churches, clubs, residences, and other buildings. To schedule a safety training, call the Bluffton Fire Department’s non-emergency number at 824-6050.

The donation will allow the department to purchase new and updated equipment to better serve the community.
