10 a.m.: Fire Tower Climb

2 p.m.: Live Bison Feeding, meet at the Bison Enclosure

4 p.m.: Kids Crafts: rock painting, meeting at the Campground Shelter (Kids 12 and younger require an adult to attend)

Sunday, Sept. 18

Free admission day

In honor of National Public Lands Day admission to the park is free today.

10 a.m.: Park clean up. To celebrate National Public Lands Day, give back to Ouabache by volunteering to help do some park clean up. There will be works on the trails, tennis courts, shelters and more. Tools will be provided. Meet at the tennis court parking lot. And then stay for the Scavenger Hunt.

10-11 a.m.; Kids Campground Scavenger Hunt for groups and families. Stop by the camp host campsite to pick up the Scavenger Hunt list. Each group or familly’s completed list must be turned in to the main office by 12 noon on Sunday for kids to receive a treat.
