AUDITIONS FOR ‘LEADING LADIES’
Creative Arts’ newest theater production, “Leading Ladies” by Ken Ludwig, will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Life Community Church. Auditions are open to actors 16 years and up. The Show dates are Oct. 7, 8, and 9, in the Life Community Church auditorium. Rehearsals will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, beginning Sept. 6. ‘IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE
Auditions for Creative Art’s holiday theater production, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” a new musical by Keith Ferguson and Bruce Greer, will be held Friday, Sept. 9, at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. at the Life Community Church. Auditions are open to all ages (see available roles on our website). Those coming to audition are asked to prepare approximately one minute of singing that shows your range and be prepared to read and learn/perform choreography. The rehearsal calendar will be available at auditions. Performances will take place Dec. 2, 3, and 4 in the Life Community Church Auditorium.

PARLOR CITY FINE ARTS DAY
Creative Arts is partnering with Bluffton NOW! to host a Fine Arts Day Saturday, Sept. 10, during the Parlor City Market. Stop by downtown at the Parlor City Plaza from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and see performances by the Performing Co, CAC2, excerpts from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” a chalk walk, Plein Air painting and more.
SHAKESPEARE ON THE PLAZA
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” performed by Parlor City Shakespeare Company in partnership with Bluffton NOW! and the Creative Arts Council.
Shows will be Sept. 9, 10, and 11, on the Parlor City Plaza in downtown Bluffton. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and performances start at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Misbehaving fairies, lovers in turmoil, overbearing parents, and hapless towns-folk putting on a play within the play make up this classic Shakespeare comedy. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a night of hilarious theatre under the stars in beautiful downtown Bluffton!
GUITAR LESSONS
Classes are open Tuesday afternoons and evenings to anyone interested in private instruction in acoustic, electric, or bass guitar. A semester commitment is required. Call 260-824-5222 for lesson information and instruction times available.

Artists in Action: Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Life Community Church. Paint and philosophize with the Brushing Broads+1.
Meet the Artist: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. This is an opportunity to meet with the artists who are a part of the Brushing Broads+1. Those who are interested may speak with the artists about commissioning artwork. For more information, email: brushingbroads@gmail.com.
