3:43 p.m. Thursday — Report of a child’s scooter left in the parking lot at the Scott and Washington streets. Parks Department contacted.

5:35 p.m. Thursday — A caller reported that a red truck at Ohio and Main streets was being driven by an individual who was drinking while driving. The caller said babies were in the vehicle.

5:45 p.m. Thursday, 200 block of East Ohio Street. Report of a fight between a male and female. Parties separated; family members took care of children.

10:14 p.m. Thursday — Report of a disorderly patient arguing with a nurse at Bluffton Regional Medical Center, 303 S. Main St.

11:38 p.m. Thursday — Area of West Market Street and North Morgan Street. Caller reported a 13-year-old had been shot with a BB gun earlier in the evening. Information taken for report.

11:47 p.m. Thursday — Report of a semi parked in the parking lot at Taco Bell, 628 N. Main St., and the caller said the truck needs to be moved per store policy. Trucker agreed to move. 

2:47 a.m. Friday — Report of an open door at Indiana Physical Therapy, 2170 Commerce Drive. Building secured.

10:45 a.m. Friday — Woman called police and said she had received a call that showed her sister’s phone number but it was not her. She was afraid someone had her sister’s information. Assistance provided.

11:06 a.m. Friday — Report of an animal problem at Williams and Silver streets. Owner showed up. 

12:12 p.m. Friday — Caller wants advice on how to approach a person who is making inappropriate comments to women.

9:07 p.m. Thursday, Pine Grove Apartments — Protective order served.

5:24 p.m. Thursday — driving complaint on Ind. 1; vehicle traveling 30 mph northbound near 350N impeding traffic.

8:41 p.m. Thursday — Arrest warrant served to Julio Nick Echevarria‑Iriazarry at the Wells County Jail.

1:13 a.m. Friday, Main and Monroe streets in Bluffton. Unlicensed driver, Iris Pamela Trejo Navarro, 19, taken into custody. She is charged with operating a vehicle while never having had a driver’s license, a Class C misdemeanor, and having no or improper headlights, a Class C infraction.

7:32 a.m. Friday — Complaint on South Main Street in Petroleum about harassment by a neighbor.

10:51 a.m. Friday — Report of an individual mowing and has the entire road covered in grass. Site was near Meridian Road and 300S.

ACCIDENT

7:07 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Beverly McCartney, 68, rural Bluffton, struck a deer on 300N. She had returned to her residence after striking the deer. Damage to her 2018 Kia Sorrento was estimated at between $2,501 and $5,000.
