Monday, 2:45 p.m., residence at Greenfield Lane. Individual came reported property damaged by his partner.
Monday, 3:59 p.m., 515 East Arnold Street. Complaint of a van and trailer parked on a sidewalk and blocking part of the roadway. Officer made contact with the owner and advised the vehicle needed to be moved.
Monday, 4:26 p.m., Walmart. Theft. Suspect detained in store office with no ID.
Monday, 5:13 p.m., 320 South Johnson Street. Bike reported stolen from the library. Officer identified the suspect and bike. Bike was returned.
Monday, 10:10 p.m. residence on East Townley Street. Report of individual walking around with a headlamp. Deputies responded arrested Tyson Scott Walter, 38, Auburn, Ind., for invasion of privacy-family offense, a Level 6 felony. Bond not yet set.
Tuesday, 9:27 a.m., City Hall. Unwanted part yelling inside the mayor’s office.
Tuesday, 9:35 a.m., residence on Clark Avenue. Juvenile yielding a steak knife.

Sunday, 9:27 a.m., while patrolling south on Ind. 1 near 500N, a sheriff’s deputy clocked an oncoming 2016 Jeep at 71 mph-55 zone, turned around, and pulled it over at U.S. 224. The driver, identified as Lori Rea Irwin, 44, Decatur, reportedly did not have her license in her possession and was out on bond on a pending case in Adams County wherein she had been charged with unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor; and battery, a Class B misdemeanor. The deputy asked Irwin if she had smoked marijuana recently and she allegedly admitted to having smoked marijuana around 10 p.m. the previous night. The deputy noted in his report to the court that Irwin failed field sobriety tests and a SoToxa oral fluid test allegedly showed the presence of cannabis and cocaine in her system. She was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor; operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in her body, a Class C misdemeanor; and speeding, a Class C infraction. Bond was set at $1,500.
Sunday, 1:23 p.m., Liberty Center Fire Department, 2600S-300W. Someone had been spinning a vehicle in circles in the department’s gravel parking lot.
Sunday, 2:41 p.m., residence on 1100N west of 500W. Dirt bike stolen.
Monday, 8:55 a.m., residence on 1050N east of Ind. 1. Caller reported his mailbox had been blown up sometime during the night.
Monday, 9:57 a.m., residence on 300W, Markle. Woman found unresponsive, suspected overdose on over-the-counter medications. Responding teams administered one dose of Narcan.
Monday, 10:35 a.m., East Rose Road at North Meridian Road, Bluffton. Report of carpet dumped in area. Deputies located the piles but did not find the individual responsible.
Tuesday, 11:37 a.m., East Ind. 218 at South Ind. 1. Report of a construction sign blown into the roadway.
Ossian:
Saturday, 8:26 p.m., residence in the 100 block of South Melching Drive. Sheriff’s deputy served warrants for arrest on Joseph Lee Davis, 47, of that address on charges of forgery, a Level 6 felony, and theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set $40,000. Also arrested was Melissa Ann Davis, 32, of that address, on two counts of theft, both Level 6 felonies. Bond set at $10,000.
Monday, 8:55 a.m., 3333E 1050N, Ossian. Caller said they had heard fireworks the previous night and had found a mailbox damaged that morning.
Tuesday, 10:31 a.m., Silo Farms. Request for assistant with a fall. Deputies and EMS responded.

City:
Saturday, 9:19 a.m., 1200 W. Cherry St. Melvin Coverstone, 77, Bluffton, backed a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck, registered to Ellenberger Bros., 130 W. Market St., out of his driveway into the parking lot across the way at 1200 W. Cherry St. and backed into a parked 2011 Honda Fit, the registered owner of which was not listed on the accident report. Coverstone explained that he usually backs out of his driveway like that and there is usually no one parked in the lot. Damage exceeded $1,000.
Monday, 12:47 p.m. Anna B. Smith, 19, Ossian was pulling out of a parking spot in a 1999 Ford Ranger and backed into a 2012 Chevrolet vehicle owned by Kathryn L. Leas, Warren.

Friday, 3:39 p.m., Ind. 1 north of U.S. 224. Brianna Weir, 30, Wabash, was driving north on Ind. 1 in a 2014 Ford Fusion when she slowed to make a left turn into a driveway. Rose Taylor, 72, Ossian, was coming up behind in a 2014 Chevrolet Impala and realized too late that Weir had slowed to turn. She tried passing on the left to avoid a collision just as Weir was making her turn. Damage exceeded $10,000.
Sunday, 6:16 a.m., Ind. 218 west of 600W. Ashton R. Skeens, 28, rural Van Buren, hit a deer 2022 Hyundai Tucson. Damage to the vehicle exceeded $1,000.
Tuesday, 12:58 p.m., South 100W, Poneto. A teenager was operating a 2005 Ford Taurus and swerved to avoid hitting an animal in the roadway. The driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch on the east side of the roadway. Damage exceeded $2,500.
Ossian:
Tuesday, 4:40 p.m., Ind. 1 at the intersection of East 700N. Amy C. Pautler, 22, Fort Wayne was driving a 2005 Honda Civic and failed to stop when a 2010 Chevrolet Express driven by Cole A. Beymer, 19, Decatur had stopped behind a turning vehicle. Pautler’s vehicle collided with Beymer’s, and pushed his vehicle into the turning vehicle in front, a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Evan T. Decker, 23, Fort Wayne. Pautler’s vehicle was towed by Freeman’s Towing due to disabling damages. Damage exceeded $10,000.

Sunday, 7:17 p.m., 1200N east of Ind. 1. Report of a child struck by a vehicle driven by a juvenile moving at a high rate of speed. The child reportedly suffered a gash to the head. Wells County EMS and Ossian Fire Department first responders dispatched to the scene. No further details were available.
Monday, 9:48 a.m., 705 Willowbrook Trail residence of Ryan and Rebekah Shaffer. Carbon monoxide detector alarm. Bluffton Fire Department dispatched.
