Norwell’s girls golf team tee-d off their third match of the season tonight and first at their home course at Timber Ridge Golf course. The Knights hosted a pair of Fort Wayne teams in Northside and Southside, out lasting both with a final team score of 190.
Southside placed second with a 246, while Southside finished with a 259 score. All golfers shot under 55, with Emilyn Heaston leading all scorers with a 46.
Other scorers included Anna Dodane (47), Hayden Double (48), Emma Dodane (49), and Emmi Gatton (54).
Norwell is off to a hot start, finishing first in the South Adams Girls Golf Invitational and second in the Bellmont Girls Golf Invitational last week.
The Knights will be back in action next Tuesday, August 16 at Timber Ridge.
