Monday, 2:53 p.m., South Wayne Street. Caller requested police presence while his wife picked up her personal possessions because the two were going through a divorce. The husband had gathered the items, but the wife refused to take them because she claimed there was more inside the home. Officers told the woman she could not force entry into the home and she left without collecting any items.
Monday, 2:57 p.m., 806 Avondale Drive. Caller trying to retrieve property from a former employee.
Monday, 3:52 p.m., Washington Park. Report of multiple juveniles arguing verbally at the park.
Monday, 8:49 p.m., Roush Park. Woman requested an officer in regard to a juvenile attempting to sell vapes to her daughter.
Monday, 9:05 p.m., 54 Pine Grove Court. Caller reported her disabled daughter was at a neighbors apartment and the caller believed she had been coaxed into the apartment. Officer spoke with the neighbor and advised not to make contact with the calling person or the daughter.
County:
Friday, 1:32 p.m., 600E at U.S. 224 in Tocsin. A 2020 Honda Odyssey van, driven by Nacayla M. Price, 30, rural Ossian, hit a 2008 Toyota Prius, driven by Shannon K. Johnson, 54, rural Ossian, from behind as Johnson was stopped at the intersection waiting for traffic to clear to make a right turn from 600E onto U.S. 224. Neither driver was injured. Damage exceeded $2,500.
Friday, 11:02 p.m., Rose Road. James D. Butts, 64, Markle was driving on Rose Road after dark when he spotted an unknown object in the roadway, swerved to miss it, drove a 1988 Ford F-250 pickup truck off the road and rolled it onto its top when he entered the ditch. Butts was not injured. Damage to the pickup truck exceeded $10,000. Bluffton Fire Rescue and Wells County EMS were dispatched to the scene because the initial caller could not advise if anyone in the truck was trapped or injured.
Monday, 4:10 a.m., Ind. 218 near 100W. Robert L. Maynard, 32, Bluffton, hit a large raccoon with his 2016 Chevrolet Sonic. Damage to the car exceeded $2,500.
Tuesday, 12:37 a.m., 6041E 800S, rural Bluffton. Woman reported her estranged husband was refusing to return an extra set of keys and leave. Woman took the man to Parkview Hospital for an evaluation.

Monday, 12:15 p.m., East North Street. Report of harassment via text.
Monday, 8:09 p.m., Silo Farms. Caller reported she was soon to be divorced from her husband and he was making vague threats toward her. Deputy advised on how to obtain a protective order.
Tuesday, 8:59 a.m., East North Street. Woman reported her former partner was threatening and harassing her since their break-up. Woman submitted hundreds of texts, which included threats of physical harm and murder to the woman, their infant and any future partners. The woman also said the man had incited a physical altercation in May and wanted to document additional information in the police report. Deputy advised the woman to seek a protective order so law enforcement can monitor the situation more closely.
ACCIDENTS
City:
Tuesday, 9:59 a.m., South Williams Street at the intersection of West Wiley Avenue. Samantha R. White, 24, Bluffton was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox SUV and did not see any oncoming vehicles while stopped at the stop sign due to vehicles parked on the street. She proceeded into the intersection and her vehicle collided with a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Anna L. Holloway, 79, Bluffton. Damage exceeded $5,000.

Saturday, 1:35 p.m., Ossian Health and Rehabilitation, 215 Davis Rd. Fire alarm. Ossian Fire Department dispatched. No fire. Alarm accidentally tripped.
Saturday, 3:35 p.m., Emma Shepherd residence, 17 Sunset Drive. Carbon monoxide detector alarm. Bluffton Fire Department responded. Alarm malfunctioned.
ARRESTS
Dianne Eileen Garcia, 56, Bluffton; disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond set at $1,000.
