The Lions 5K is over and was a great success as several enjoyed the great weather. I will report on that next week.
I am holding off on a report of the East Union Center Alumni as I need to research something from previous alumnis. Jake Fluke was awarded the eldest alumnus present and he wants to know if he is the first male to be awarded that as most of the time the eldest is a female!
This week at the ballpark. The Midwest Aces 13U will be practicing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Saturday they will have a doubleheader so you can come down and watch them play. The concession stand will be open so come and buy some goodies.
The Zanesville Youth Program continues to meet on Tuesday, June 7, at the Tower Life Center at 9 a.m. and then on Thursday, June 9, they will make a trip to the Markle Park for pizza and fun.
Allen County officials are asking for new signs on Smith Road surrounding the Amazon Plant.
You who are residents of Feighner Road south of I-469 will not be pleased to know that the more than 200 single family homes to be built by Granite Ridge has received approval from the Allen County Plan Commissioners even though many residents opposed it. The addition is listed as Cedar Grove.
